New Year’s resolutions are old news. The real way to improve your life and achieve great things in 2008 is to set clear, specific, actionable goals that will carry you through all 12 months, not just the first 12 days.
For the past few years, I have spent the last week of December working through a book called Your Best Year Yet! Ten Questions for Making the Next Twelve Months Your Most Successful Ever by Jinny S. Ditzler. It’s a terrific, step-by-step guide to reviewing the past year and setting goals in all areas of your life–personal and professional.
I’ll be taking my copy of Your Best Year Yet! on vacation with me over this holiday weekend. I hope you’ll check it out too.
